Current Conditions:

Saturday, March 8th

Track was set on the 30-km Loppet loop trail yesterday (March 7) and conditions are very good. This is likely the last setting for the season as temperatures are getting quite warm in the afternoons. There is still plenty of snow on the Pyramid Campground road, but with the mild weather we probably won't be setting it again this winter.

Welcome!

Who We Are:

Murtle River Nordics is a non-profit society dedicated to providing quality cross-country ski trails in Wells Gray Park. The 30-km wilderness trail system we maintain also provides many hours of summer-time enjoyment for hikers, mountain-bikers, and horse-riders. No motorized vehicles are allowed. Ski trails are trackset at regular intervals to provide the best possible conditions. Skiing usually starts in early to mid-December and continues until early March.
